Antique 3 Piece Set 1920's Kewpie Doll (Dolly) Face Child's Miniature Tea Set including Tea Pot Creamer Cup - A528
Marked Japan on the back.
We call them Kewpie tea sets but actually they were called Dolly or Doll Face tea sets when originally sold in the US back in the 20's. Japan flooded the market with these inexpensive sets because most people could not afford the German, English and French counterparts. Included will be a newspaper article with a bit of history on the set.
Tea pot 1.75" tall x 3" wide x 1.5 deep
Creamer 1.38" tall x 1.5" wide x 1" deep
Cup 7/8" tall x 1-1/8" wide x 7/8" deep
Not in perfect shape but a bit piece of history just the same.
Stored in non-smoking environment
